Brake Press Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:00pm )
- Operate and set up CNC/manual brake presses and other related machinery used in the metal fabrication process.
- Assist other machine operators as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Select and adjust proper die clearances based on material type and thickness requirements to achieve precise bends.
- Set up tooling, load programs, and establish machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Inspect and determine the condition of tools, identifying when re-sharpening or replacement is necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company rules, policies, and safety protocols.
- Work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
Brake Press Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating Brake Press machinery.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Die Setting and adjustment.
- Familiarity with various metal fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Experience with quality control inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
