Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
23.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
• Run slitting machines (baloney, crush-cut, razor), sheeting machines, laminators, die cutters, and relinering equipment in accordance with production plans and job specifications.
• Prepare machines for production runs, including changing blades, rolls, dies, and tooling; adjust speed, tension, and guides to achieve precision tolerances.
• Inspect finished materials for width, length, cut quality, and defects; monitor and document product specifications.
• Load and unload materials, label batches, and move finished goods to staging areas.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance; report mechanical issues promptly.
• Complete production logs, quality records; assist with tracking output against daily goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area; participate in training and adhere to company policies.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience operating industrial machinery or in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, tape specifications, and basic measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
• Basic math and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with slitting, die-cutting, laminating, or converting equipment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with quality systems and production metrics.
