Litigation Attorney at a mid-sized law firm in Camp Hill area ranked one of best law firms in the country. Will work closely with shareholders and associates on full spectrum of corporate business, general litigation and municipal clients. $108K - $115K DOE + bonus potential + benefits.

Litigation Attorney Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $108,000.00 to $115,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift
  • Provide analysis and counsel to clients on legal policy.
  • Lead the client through the legal process.
  • Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the client.
  • Develop and recommend client policy and position on legal issues.
  • Conduct and coordinate research identifying information to support senior counsel and clients.
  • Represent the client or its officials in various legal proceedings. • Assist in preparation of expert reports and mediation statements. • Draft briefs, discovery, pleadings, position statements, stipulations, and dispositive motions.
  • File court documents and adhere to strict timelines.
  • Prepare for trial including taking and defending depositions, written discovery, and other case preparation.
  • Participate in practice group meetings to review current objectives, cases, and network with other attorneys and stakeholders in the group.
  • Participate in professional development initiatives for Continuing Legal Education and firm sponsored seminars.
  • Attend social functions and speaking engagements that support the development of the attorney’s practice.
  • Author publications for internal and external use.

 


Litigation Attorney Qualifications:

  • License to practice law in Pennsylvania with bar admission in good standing
  • Degree from an accredited law school
  • 3-5 years’ general litigation experience, in the federal system preferred
  • Prior clerkship or trial experience preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws 
  • Ability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management mindset
  • Commitment to professionalism, cooperation, and teamwork

  • Participate in preliminary hearings, jury trials and courtroom litigation
  • Experience with Common Pleas judges
  • Argued motions, bench trials, and pre-trial motions
  • Experience with Common Plea and Magisterial District judges
