Part-Time City Maintenance Details:
Temporary position- $
15.00 / hour Part Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Assists in the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges, grading, and city buildings, and participates in other projects of the City.
- Clears rights of way, cleans out drainage pipes, packs dirt, piles brush and trash, works concrete.
- Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel using pick and shovel.
- Lifts and carries materials, tools, and supplies to the work site and assists with their use, as instructed.
- City Building maintenance including, electrical, plumbing, painting, dry wall installation, etc. as needed.
Part-Time City Maintenance Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
- Relevant experience in Plumbing, Painting, Electrical Maintenance, Construction, Landscaping etc. preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor, lift over 50-75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces or small trenches.
- Proficiency with hand/power tools, basic mechanical skills, and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Previous Convictions will be considered.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
