Assistant Dispatcher Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Assist the Dispatcher with scheduling and coordinating delivery loads
- Support daily dispatch operations by communicating with drivers, yard staff, and customers
- Enter and maintain accurate delivery, load, and product information in the computer system.
- Use building materials knowledge to ensure correct products are scheduled, delivered, and returned when necessary.
- Provide professional, friendly customer service by assisting with delivery-related inquiries.
- Help maintain organization of dispatch records, delivery tickets, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse and yard personnel to support smooth daily operations.
Assistant Dispatcher Qualifications:
- Previous dispatch experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of building materials
- Updated resume with history of longevity at jobs
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
