CNC Lathe and Mill Machinist Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $25.00 /hour
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
  • 100% Onsite
  • Overtime available, as needed

What You’ll Do

  • Operate and maintain CNC Lathe and Mill machines
  • Set up and run parts with minimal guidance
  • Make machine adjustments to keep parts within tolerance
  • Perform quality inspections using mics, calipers, and other measurement tools
  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and drawings
  • Complete inspection and production documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with team members in a job shop manufacturing setting

CNC Lathe and Mill Machinist Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of machining experience preferred
  • Experience with Mazak machines and/or G-code
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions
  • Strong understanding of tool loading and part inspection
  • Moderate G-code knowledge
  • Proficient with basic measurement tools (mics, calipers)
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Strong computer skills for documentation and inspection forms
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
