Materials Manager

Materials Manager Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $52,000.00 to $66,560.00 /annually
• First Shift

• Prepare customer orders for production.
• Enter and maintain orders in E2 manufacturing system and job book.
• Monitor customer schedule on constant basis and react to changes by adjusting delivery requirements in the system.
• If required, coordinate with customer purchasing to adjust delivery dates to maintain on time delivery performance
• Place orders for raw materials (bar stock, castings, forgings, etc.) and outside processing to support orders.
• Plan future casting/forging requirements • Interface with vendors to track outside purchases to maintain customer delivery schedules.
• Ensure proper receipt of all required documentation (packing slips and material/process certs.)
• Champion daily (or timely) production meetings to monitor shop floor progress.
• Will maintain schedule board and must work to monitor and control the following:
• On-time delivery performance o Overtime requirements
• Assist in defining production priorities o Ensure communication with all departments (Quality, etc.) of schedule requirements
• Prepare freight and/or shipping documentation (BOLs, FedEx labels, etc.)
