Short term Payroll specialist Details:
Temporary position- $
26.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to04:00pm )
•Performs daily payroll functions •Prepares and administer bi-weekly payroll in different systems
•Reconciles payroll/reporting in collaboration with the Payroll Manager
•Updates employee transfers, salary changes, new hires/hourly status, status, transfers, etc.
•Assists employees with general questions about their check, hours worked, missing time, etc.
•Conducts research to facilitate needed results.
•Assists with 401k enrollment
•Creates manual checks for payroll or bonuses as requested.
•Obtain supervisory approval of timecard discrepancies from field or office management
•Responds to payroll and/or HR inquiries from managers and employees for a variety of new hire information, employee benefits updates, status changes, and other general inquiries •Assists and process of Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage Payroll
Short term Payroll specialist Qualifications:
- MUST have experience with ADP Payroll
- Must be ok with working a temp assignment
- Must be BILINGUAL-Spanish/English
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
