Dispatcher
Logistics Specialist / Dispatcher at STG Logistics coordinates daily transportation and dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient movement of freight. Dispatcher Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers for daily transportation schedules
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
- Communicate with drivers regarding routes, delays, and delivery updates
- Track loads and update dispatch and transportation systems
- Resolve scheduling issues and service interruptions in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports
- Communicate with internal teams and customers as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
Dispatcher Qualifications:
Familiar with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Coordinated between ports and rail pickups/deliveries.
Route planning for route optimization dispatches.
Manage driver schedules for HOS compliance, Monitor shipments for on-time service.
Communicate service exceptions, between drivers, customer service teams, and vendor relations group.
Administrative duties including billing entry, driver settlement reviews, and other applicable admin duties.
