A small manufacturing company that produces vehicle mirrors is looking to add a shipping clerk to their team.

By manufacturing in-house, we are able to create mirrors without distortion or defects. Mirrors are cut, seamed, lasered, assembled, and packaged in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA.

Shipping Clerk Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
The duties of this position includes picking and packing customer orders to customer specifications and performing general warehouse duties.
• Locate finished product according to customer orders.
• Pick product orders.
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Organize warehouse shelves
• Follow Burco Inc Safety Policy.
• Other duties as assigned
• Perform back-up for other production line positions.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Maintain material supply adhering to just in time manufacturing principles.
Shipping Clerk Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED and or 1-3 years of related experience or training.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Hi-Lo license issued
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
• Experience with using a computer, scale, and shipping procedures. These can be taught if needed.
