Class B Driver Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 05:00am to01:30pm )
- Safely operate 24' box truck to pick up and deliver food donations and supplies
- Load, unload, and secure food items, following proper food handling and safety procedures, using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Complete delivery routes in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and food bank policies
- Interact respectfully and professionally with donors, partner agencies, volunteers, and community members
- Assist with warehouse or distribution activities as needed
Class B Driver Qualifications:
- Must have a valid commerical driver's license
- Must have prior experience operating forklifts and pallets
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Current DOT medical card a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
