Senior Accountant Details:
Contract position- $
65.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
• The Senior Accountant will be supporting Accounting and SEC reporting, and this will involve technical accounting and heavily on SEC reporting and investor relations earnings materials.
• This role will be involved in various aspects of our SEC reporting including the filing of our Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• The person will also be performing accounting research to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules & regulations.
• Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks) in Workiva and assist with XBRL review process
• Prepare supporting documentation for SEC filings including tie-out
• Perform U.S. GAAP guidance research and benchmarking against industry peers and provide recommendation
• Assist in the coordination of external audit/quarterly reviews
• Monitor SOX controls to ensure compliance • Maintain corporate reporting calendar and coordinate deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting operations, Treasury, FP&A, Investor Relations and Legal
• Assist Investor Relations team as needed with quarterly Investor relations material review
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with 4+ years of accounting experience (big four public accounting experience and SEC reporting experience preferred) CPA license or a progression toward the license is required
• Experience with Workiva preferred
• Understanding of XBRL/EDGAR filing requirements
• Good understanding of financial statements, U.S. GAAP, and SEC reporting regulations
• Experience with SAP preferred
