The Brewer Assistant supports the brewing team in day-to-day brewery operations, ensuring efficient production, high quality standards, and a clean, safe working environment.

Brewing Assistant Details:
Temporary position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:00pm )
- 50% brewing tasks and 50% packaging lines.
- Assist in timely and accurate line changeovers, cleaning & sanitation of equipment to coincide with needs of production schedule
- Operate multiple stations on bottling line as assigned (bottle loading, capping, labeling & coding, case packing, palletizing, etc.)
- Assist brewer to maintain quality and regulatory compliance (including but not limited to acidification, CCP (critical control points) and temperature controls) during brewing process
- Assist brewer to maintain organization of raw material inventory at plant, ensuring proper stock rotation and storage while minimizing raw material loss.
- Operate and maintain machinery such as brew kettles, mash tun, fill kettles, pumps (maintaining correct temperature and pressure parameters during process).
- Operate transfer truck and powdered industrial equipment to move materials and finished goods between/within warehouses
- Participate in monthly inventory physical counts of raw materials – liaison with accounting to resolve discrepancies
- Assist brewers with all stages of the brewing process, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermentation, and packaging
Brewing Assistant Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience is preferred
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain detailed records
- Physically capable of lifting, standing for long periods, and working in a production environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, or shifts
- Previous brewery, manufacturing, or production experience preferred (training can be provided)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
