Manufacturing plastic injection mold company located in Long beach, CA is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee all quality assurance and compliance functions within our manufacturing operations.

Quality Manager Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
31.00 to $ 33.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
Quality Control:
- Develop, train, and manage Quality Control Technicians in accordance with SOPs to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve quality control processes using available control resources Ensure all products conform to approved PPAPs and customer control plans
- Develop, manage, and review control test procedures per specified control plans
- Ensure internal and external quality dispositions are completed timely and communicated via MQI or customer-defined quality plans
- Quality Assurance Develop, control, and maintain Quality Assurance systems per quality procedures and customer requirements
- Ensure all production-approved products have required quality documentation accessible to production and relevant teams
- Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance testing through Mattec SPC entries per approved control plans
Quality Manager Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing supervisory or related experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field OR minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager or supervisory role
- Plastics manufacturing experience preferred
- Green Belt, CQE, and/or CQM/OE certifications preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and quality systems
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
