Yard Hostler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.20 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to11:00pm )
- Shuttle trailers and freight within yard, dock, and designated staging areas
- Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck
- Inspect trailers before and after movement; document conditions and damages
- Stack, band, label, and organize freight accurately by destination
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform daily yard checks
Yard Hostler Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, yard hostler, or forklift experience preferred
- Ability to operate industrial equipment safely and follow procedures
- Comfortable working 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) and outdoors as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
