Seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a well-established team!

Construction Estimator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
70,000.00 to $ 85,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Understands the scope of work to bid.
- Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors and vendors.
- Develop project plans.
- Review and assess cost estimates.
- Prepare very detailed cost estimates reports.
- Conduct regular risk assessments.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions.
- Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.
- Develop and implement transfer procedures for passing off complex projects to other members of the project management team that provides for a smooth and seamless transition for the customers or clients.
- Responsible for assisting in developing manpower requirements for the projects being estimated.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Company policies, procedures and safety rules are being followed at all times.
Construction Estimator Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Three years of construction experience.
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work. Must be accurate with all work, including computer data entry.
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations as required for preparation of reports.
- Must be able to sufficiently communicate, both verbally and in writing, technical and business information.
- Work will be performed in the office most of the time.
- Occasional trips to job sites, meetings, and other locations may be required.
- Travel to conferences and meetings may be required.
