Asset Recovery Specialist Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $19.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
  • Managing and documenting collection activities and account histories
  • Negotiating payment plans and settlements
  • Preparing and filing legal documents (summons, complaints, garnishments, judgments, etc.)
  • Maintaining the Oregon legal log and meeting deadlines
  • Using skip tracing tools to locate customers and recover assets
  • Monitoring bankruptcy accounts for recovery opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and legal partners
  • Following up with process servers
  • Meeting department performance and attendance standards

Asset Recovery Specialist Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in debt recovery or a related field REQUIRED
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Sound decision making and the ability to stay composed under pressure
  • Experience in collections, recovery, repossessions, or skip tracing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web based software
  • Ability to interpret documents and compose clear written reports
  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM and 100 KPH alphanumeric
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
