We are looking for a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our tight-knit team.

We are a small sheet metal shop of about 10 employees. Their employee longevity is significant in that most of them have been with our company for 7+ years. They boast a laid-back shop where everyone gets along well with one another.

Fabricator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
Key Responsibilities·
Welding: Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on Carbon Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.
Custom Fabrication: Manage various workflows,
including: Assembling and welding parts that have been pre-formed/bent.
Selecting raw stock, layout, and cutting material to size for ground-up builds.
Machine Operation: Safely operate shop equipment including Vertical Band Saws, Drill Presses, and various Sanders/Grinders to prep and finish parts.
Quality Control: Ensure all welds are structurally sound and meet the aesthetic standards required for custom turnkey projects.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and sketches to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Fabricator Qualifications:
· Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding · Fabrication Logic: Ability to visualize a project and determine the best sequence of cuts and welds. · Tool Literacy: Comfortable using manual shop machinery and hand tools for material prep and finishing. · Physical Stamina: Ability to handle large material stock and remain on your feet in a shop environment. Detail Oriented: A "measure twice, cut once" mindset with a focus on clean, professional finishes
