Welder
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to fabricate steel and aluminum components in a fiberglass manufacturing environment. This role involves manual and semi-automatic welding, blueprint reading, and the use of common welding and fabrication tools. WELD TEST REQUIRED

Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 21.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components in flat and vertical positions
- Set up, clamp, tack, grind, heat-bend, or bolt components to required specifications
- Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment, including GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SMAW, and related processes
- Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, distortion, or material defects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Lay out, align, and secure parts prior to welding using measuring tools (calipers, squares, rulers, straightedges)
- Safely operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade
Welder Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience
- Experience welding steel and aluminum
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Blueprint reading required
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide; verify accuracy)
- Lift and carry 15–50 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive motion
- Ability to work in noisy environments with vibration and exposure to fumes, dust, heat, and moving equipment
- Close visual acuity required for inspection, blueprint reading, and fabrication tasks
- Must be able to hear and communicate clearly in a manufacturing environment
