Materials Supervisor Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
26.00 to $ 31.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Lead and develop the materials planning and inventory management team
- Improve core processes for shipping, receiving, and material handling
- Release purchase orders from blanket contracts to meet production schedules
- Expedite, cancel, or adjust POs based on changing production needs
- Mentor the Materials Release Coordinator using the MRP system
- Partner with Procurement to build compliant, sustainable release processes
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams
- Identify material loss and drive initiatives toward zero?based waste
- Own and manage the annual materials and inventory operating budget
- Resolve receiving, invoice, and vendor discrepancies
- Manage rejects, returns, and SKU transitions to reduce inventory risk
- Perform additional duties as business needs require
Materials Supervisor Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years leading teams or cross?functional projects
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Experience with inventory management and ERP systems
Preferred
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP
- Inventory control experience
- Warehouse leadership background
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
