Shipping/ Receiving Associate Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 09:00am to05:00pm )
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Handle shipping paperwork (bills of lading, packing slips, shipping orders, etc.)
- Package items for shipment or storage
- Send purchase orders to vendors through our ERP system.
- Communicate with vendors about deliveries and scheduling.
- Check incoming shipments for accuracy and possible damage.
- Deliver materials to different departments using a forklift, hand truck, or by hand.
- Keep materials organized, labeled, and routed to the right places.
- Process material receipts and shipping info using a PC or handheld scanner.
- Help maintain a clean, safe workspace
Shipping/ Receiving Associate Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems and basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to manage documents, scan barcodes, and follow standard procedures.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortably twist, bend, reach, and stand throughout the day
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
