Optician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 09:00am to05:00pm )
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions.
- Ensure proper fit of eyeglasses by performing measurements, adjustments, and minor repairs as needed.
- Interpret optical prescriptions accurately and provide patients with clear guidance on lens types, frame options, and proper eyewear care.
- Educate patients on available products, including lens coatings, materials, and contact lens options.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions, concerns, and follow?up needs professionally.
- Handle administrative tasks such as managing inventory, processing insurance claims, answering phone calls, and scheduling patient appointments
Optician Qualifications:
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must have excellent phone skills.
- Must be able to work with a sense of urgency, it’s a fast-paced office environment.
- Must be willing to learn the trade of eyeglass fitting and repairs.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
