Buyer/Planner Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Enforce and support all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain safe, clean, and compliant working conditions across the facility
- Participate in and conduct safety trainings, meetings, toolbox talks, and accident investigations
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer and internal team inquiries related to products and orders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, sales, and branch leadership
- Process quotes and orders including entry, edits, and maintenance in company systems
- Handle phone, email, and fax inquiries related to orders, freight, and billing issues
Buyer/Planner Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in materials management, customer support, or order entry within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles including Kanban and pull systems
- Strong organizational and analytical problem solving skills
- Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross functionally
- High level of accountability, reliability, and self motivation Flexibility to work additional hours based on operational demand
