2nd Shift Slitter Helper Details:
Temporary position- $
19.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:00pm )
- Assist in verifying incoming coils against customer specifications before processing.
- Support accurate setup of slitting equipment and monitor material during processing.
- Report quality issues immediately and assist in resolving defects.
- Participate in final inspection steps, including weighing, labeling, and packaging.
- Maintain awareness of safety protocols and report hazards promptly.
- Assist with equipment operation, coil loading, and scrap management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and assist in training new helpers.
2nd Shift Slitter Helper Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse preferred.
- Ability to read work orders and use measuring tools (micrometers, tape measures).
- Experience with forklifts and coil handling equipment preferred.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
