Machine Operator
Elwood Staffing is hiring Machining Operators to support production at the Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant (JEP). These opportunities are contingent positions through Elwood Staffing, working onsite at one of the most respected engine manufacturing facilities in the industry. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy precision work, operating machinery, and being part of a high-quality manufacturing operation.

Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- Operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment
- Load and unload parts and monitor machine cycles
- Perform quality checks using gauges and measuring tools
- Document production and inspection results
- Follow safety, quality, and standard work procedures
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Machining experience preferred
- Ability to read work instructions and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and team-focused mindset
- Ability to stand, lift, and work in an industrial environment
- Steel Toe Boots
- 18yr or older
- Lift 35 lbs
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
