Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager Details:
Direct Hire position- $
80,000.00 to $ 87,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
Job Details
- Lead and manage all food safety, quality assurance, and quality control programs, including GFSI/BRCGS, HACCP/HARPC, allergen control, sanitation, and environmental monitoring
- Serve as the primary contact for audits, regulatory agencies, and customer quality inquiries
- Oversee product testing programs (microbiological, chemical, physical) for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
- Supervise QA, Sanitation, and Receiving teams, providing guidance, training, and daily direction
- Conduct root cause investigations, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support product development, supplier quality programs, and operational efficiency initiatives
Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field; PCQI certification preferred
- Experience in food safety and quality management within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GFSI/BRCGS standards, HACCP/HARPC, allergen control, and regulatory compliance
- Experience leading audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with experience managing teams
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to drive food safety, quality, and operational excellence
