Office Specialist


Office Assistant role in Housing and Community Development department at City entity in Anaheim. Clerical and some phone work when needed. Spanish OR Vietnamese language fluency a must. Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm, $23 per hour.

Office Specialist Details:

  • Contract position
  • $23.00 /hour
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday)

To assist the department with administrative support.

  • Filing duties, hardcopy and electronic scanning
  • Data entry, must have strong Word and Excel experience 
  • File management and records retention • Scanning duties
  • Mail distribution
  • Possible phones, as needed, to include customer service either in person, over phone or via email
  • Perform additional related duties and responsibilities as required

Office Specialist Qualifications:

  • 3+ year of administrative/clerical experience in an office setting
  • Strong typing skills
  • Data entry and electronic scanning experience
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience
  • Adobe Acrobat experience
  • Must be fluent in Spanish or Vietnamese
  • Will be subject to a drug screen and criminal background check
