Quality Lab Technician - 3rd Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift ( Sunday throughThursday from 11:00pm to07:00am )
- Training on First shift (Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Perform chemical tests that are simply chemistry in nature that include acid-base titrations (both manual and automated versions), solid and moisture determinations, color comparison testing, pH determination, conductivity, water in sample content measures, density and viscosity measures.
- Perform instrumental testing such as FTIR, XRF, GC & HPLC chromatography and gel-permeationchromatography (GPC).
- Electronically log in and label samples.
- Communicate with production staff and notify of test results.
- Read temperature charts and graphs. Build and maintain a basic understanding of TRCC products and chemistries.
- Execute laboratory tests with accuracy and precision.
- Use instruments and other lab test equipment to determine sample/test results.
- Read, understand, and apply handling cautions as stated in the lab's material Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Work with production personnel to test samples, producing accurate results and reporting in a timely manner.
Quality Lab Technician - 3rd Shift Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lab environment preferred.
- Able to read/write English.
- Able to multitask.
- Punctuality and attendance are mandatory.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
