Certified Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00pm to05:00pm )
- Diagnostics & Repair: Use computerized equipment to find issues with engines, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and suspension; perform repairs and replacements.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and belt inspections.
- System Overhauls: Repair or rebuild major components like transmissions, power steering, and brake systems.
- Customer Interaction: Discuss vehicle problems, provide repair estimates, and explain necessary work clearly to clients.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
Certified Mechanic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use automotive tools.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Adherence to safety protocols.
- Speak and read English
- 5 year mechanic experience
- ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) is the industry standard.
- Continuous training to keep up with new automotive technology, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
- Ability to work from technical manuals and service bulletins
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
