Automotive Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to05:30pm )
- Diagnose vehicle issues using hand tools, air tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on engines, driveline, cooling, electrical, air-conditioning systems and other vehicle subsystems
- Operate vehicle lifts, brake lathes, tire mounting & balancing machines, A/C recovery machines, etc.
- Communicate with Service Advisors, Dispatcher, and Service Manager to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely repair
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic ability (engine, electrical, drivability)
- Experience using scan tools and service information systems
- Previous dealership experience preferred (independent shop experience considered)
- Valid driver’s license
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
