Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
- Handle freight manually: Load and unload trucks/trailers weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds using manual equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Receive and verify shipments: Check incoming cargo against shipping documents, noting any damage or discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Sort and organize: Place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence (e.g., size, color, or product code).
- Prepare orders: Assemble customer orders from stock, and package items according to specifications.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Must be able to continuous lift boxes weighing 30lbs
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
