We are seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist to assist job seekers with disabilities in overcoming barriers to employment and achieving successful job placement.

Employment Specialist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to03:30pm )
- Facilitate individualized, person-centered job search planning.
- Help job seekers explore and evaluate vocational skills and employment options.
- Teach and support job search strategies (resume writing, networking, interviewing).
- Assist in identifying and addressing employment barriers.
- Contact employers to develop job opportunities for job seekers.
- Support workplace accommodations, training, and integration.
- Build and maintain positive relationships between job seekers and employers.
- Monitor job search efforts; prepare progress and service reports.
- Collaborate with families, case managers, and agencies (e.g., MRS).
- Provide information on benefits (SSI, Medicaid) and employment impact.
- Drive to client locations; meet employers to arrange job placements.
Employment Specialist Qualifications:
- Previous clerical experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
