Quality Technician
We are seeking a Quality Technician for a 1st shift position in the Jackson area. This is a temporary position expected to last a couple of months. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Quality Technician Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- This is a temporary role expected to last a few months, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
- Inspect finished parts for specs: dimensions, geometry, hardness, surface finish, quantity.
- Check in-process parts (first/last article) to confirm machining accuracy.
- Select proper measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, CMM) for precision.
- Assist toolmakers with inspections during set-ups or jobs in progress.
- Perform calibration checks on company and employee measuring devices; maintain log.
- Update ERP system with labor time throughout day for accurate cost tracking.
Quality Technician Qualifications:
- Skilled in operating hand-held measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth mics, bore gages).
- Accurate measurement capability to within .0001”.
- Ability to program CMM using PC-DMIS or CMM Manager software.
- Proficient in calibrating and maintaining measuring devices.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- HS Diploma/GED Required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
