We are looking for a team member to join a growing facility in food manufacturing as a Quality Technician on the 1st shift.

1st Shift Quality Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Sunday throughThursday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Conducts quality control inspections, testing, and monitoring of raw materials, finished products, facilities, and production lines to ensure compliance with specifications and GMP standards.
- Verifies shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, including trailer inspections and ATP testing, to maintain sanitation and regulatory compliance.
- Collects representative samples for testing and retains, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.
- Collaborates with production, quality, and management teams to align QC and compliance objectives and promptly reports any non-conformance issues.
- Documents quality activities by writing incident reports and performs additional duties as assigned, with responsibilities covered by the Quality Manager or designee when absent.
1st Shift Quality Technician Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in quality or production of consumer goods. Food industry background preferred. · Some experience or familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
3. Ability to read, speak and write in English. · Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) plant safety and OSHA requirements. · Ability to lift boxes and fill forms. · Attention to detail, proactiveness, and cooperation with team members.
4. Exposure to food allergens, wheat, nuts, coconut, soy products.
