Facility Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to07:00pm )
- Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, including outlets, fixtures, and wiring, in accordance with safety codes.
- Service HVAC systems, replace filters, and perform seasonal maintenance.
- Conduct plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and ensuring proper drainage.
- Assist in coordinating with external contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Facility Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tools and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform tasks that require manual labor.
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
