We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Claims Payment & Refund Clerk to support accurate claims processing, financial transactions, and member/provider service in Roseburg, OR!

Claims Payment Clerk Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Process weekly claims payments, refunds, recoupments, and EFT activity
- Handle claims payment, refund, and EFT inquiries
- Manage check voids, reissues, and payment corrections
- Assist with audits and maintain accurate logs and desk procedures
- Train staff for backup coverage and perform other assigned duties
Claims Payment Clerk Qualifications:
- Would not be starting until January
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of office experience (health insurance or medical office preferred)
- Experience with claims payment, recoupment, or financial transactions
- Basic knowledge of math skills, medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
- Proficient with PCs, 10-key, and Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
