Community Development Grant Specialist Details:
Temporary position- $
29.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Review grant applications & verify compliance.
- Advises & negotiates with all parties to ensure they understand & comply with program parameters.
- Drafts legal grant agreements, memorandums of understanding, amendments, restricted use agreements, promissory notes, & trust deed contracts.
- May assists with or actively participate in the contractual requirements, grant application process, budget planning, & evaluation of grantee performance.
- Manages grant reimbursement process & financial tracking to ensure timely payments to all grantees.
- Conduct compliance monitoring to ensure funds are being used in accordance regulations.
- Facilitates & coordinates policies & activities, as needed, with other city departments.
Community Development Grant Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration, or a closely related field plus 2-4 years of related experience.
- Ability to perform the compilation, analysis and preparation of professional written reports and technical statistical analyses and forecasts.
- Ability to analyze projects for financial feasibility.
- Knowledge of government regulations related to grant awards.
- Demonstrated ability to use various computer applications to track programs & grant status.
- Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with division heads, supervisors, employees, and the public.
