Industrial Painter needed for a manufacturing company in Jackson. This is a first shift opportunity paying $18-$20 per hour based on experience.

Industrial Painter Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
Responsible for maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order, possessing a wide array of painting including thin and thick brushes, airbrushes, rollers, and removing previous paint surfaces using masking or other duties.
- Set up blast pot and nozzle equipment
- Sandblast surfaces or remove rust as necessary
- Cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint
- Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order
- Safely disposing of chemical waste
- Ensuring that safety standards are met
- Utilizing special safety techniques based on the nature of the surface
- Using thickness gauges to measure the thickness of paint
- Removing previous paint-surfaces using masking or a chemical rinse
- Painting small items and doing touch-ups
- Ensuring proper ventilation after the paint is applied
- Able to follow technical documents to properly mix, induce, and finish paints
Industrial Painter Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Experience painting a variety of surface types.
- Proficiency with technical machinery
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
