Controller/Controller Assistant

Controller/Controller Assistant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $42.09 to $48.07 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Reconcile AP, AR, inventory, and job-costing accounts daily/weekly. 
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and support month-end/year-end close.
• Ensure records comply with GAAP and company policies.
• Track job costs for welding, machining, fabrication, and repair work.
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs for accuracy and profitability.
• Assist with budgets and financial forecasts; report variances.
• Oversee invoicing, vendor payments, and purchase order matching.
• Manage billing, credit checks, and collections.
• Enter expenses, receipts, and job transactions accurately and on time.
• Support payroll and basic HR tasks.
• Provide financial insights to production and management.
• Analyze material use, scrap, downtime, and production efficiency.
• Maintain accounting software and job-costing systems.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
