Racker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:30pm to11:00pm )
- Prepare and hang aircraft parts on racks, hooks, or fixtures to ensure proper positioning for painting or coating.
- Inspect parts for damage, cleanliness, and proper identification before racking.
- Mask components as required to protect areas that should not be painted or coated.
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and routing sheets to ensure accurate part placement and processing.
- Monitor and report defects or issues with parts, racks, or equipment.
Racker Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify part numbers, orientations, and rack positions with precision to avoid coating defects.
- Basic Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using hand tools, lift devices, and rack/hook systems.
- Understanding of Paint-Prep Processes: Familiarity with cleaning, masking, and surface-prep requirements for aerospace components (training often provided).
- Ability to Read Work Instructions and Blueprints
- Minimum of One Year Aerospace Experience
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
