CNC Programmer - 2nd Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
23.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:00pm to03:30am )
- Hands-on creation, editing, and optimization of CNC programs (G-code) for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
- Program machining operations for custom steel components
- Interpret CAD models and engineering drawings to generate accurate toolpaths
- Perform setups, adjust offsets, test programs, and verify machining accuracy on the shop floor
- Select proper tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies for thick steel and alloy materials
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make real-time program edits for efficiency and quality
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges to check dimensions and tolerances
- Document programs, maintain revision control, and support continuous improvement efforts
- Other duties as assigned
CNC Programmer - 2nd Shift Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of CNC codes
- CAD design experience needed
- Steel toes are required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
