Sawyers Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
- Operate saws and related equipment to cut lumber and building materials to required measurements.
- Review cut lists, blueprints, or shop drawings to ensure accuracy of cuts.
- Maintain quality standards by inspecting finished pieces for accuracy, defects, or damage.
- Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance to ensure proper operation.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Work closely with production team members to meet daily schedules and deadlines.
Sawyers Qualifications:
- 1+ years of sawyer or lumber cutting experience required
- Knowledge of using saws, and hand and power tools required
- Able to confidently read a tape measure to the 1/16th
- Longevity at previous positions and a reliable record of attendance required
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
