Elwood Staffing is hiring a Sheet Metal Operator in Kilgore, Tx! Monday- Friday 2pm-10:30pm with occasional Saturdays, OT as needed $17/hr!

Sheet Metal 2nd shift Details:
Temporary position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:30pm )
- Operate sheet metal punching and shearing equipment at an advanced level.
- Work with aluminum and steel materials (18–12 gauge).
- Read and interpret tape measures, protractors, and blueprints accurately.
- Load programs into the machine using the menu interface.
- Change machine tooling in the turret as needed for specific programs.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload flat sheet metal.
- Other duties to be assigned
Sheet Metal 2nd shift Qualifications:
- Proven experience with sheet metal punching/shearing.
- Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools (tape measure, protractor).
- Experience loading machine programs and changing tooling.
- Forklift operating experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
- Steel toe shoes/ boots
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
