Production Worker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Sunday throughSaturday from 06:00am to03:00pm )
- Receiving & Processing: Unload field hauls, weigh seed, clean (screen, blow out debris), and treat seeds with appropriate coatings.
- Packaging & Shipping: Bag seeds (often 200lb bags), mix custom orders, label, stack on pallets, wrap, and load onto trucks using forklifts/tractors.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate farm equipment (tractors, skid steers) and production machinery.
- Field Support (Seasonal): Assist with planting, harvesting, rouging (removing unwanted plants), and scouting for quality.
- Quality Control: Inspect seed quality, ensure cleanliness, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintenance: Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
Production Worker Qualifications:
- Physical stamina for lifting, stooping, and being outdoors/indoors.
- Ability to operate basic farm/warehouse machinery.
- Attention to detail for accurate packaging and quality checks.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to wear dust masks/respirators.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Able to Climb and deal with heights
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
