Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
Maintenance Technician – Wind Turbine Manufacturing FacilityPerform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting on production machinery used to assemble and manufacture wind turbine components.Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reduce failures.Support automated systems, robotics, CNC machines, and material-handling equipment.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.Use CMMS systems to track maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders.Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout and industrial safety protocols.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to diagnose recurring issues and recommend improvements.Assist with installation, alignment, and calibration of new machinery.Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance documentation in orderly condition.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
A strong maintenance technician candidate at Broadwind will have:
? A HS diploma/GED
? 2+ years of maintenance experience (more for Tech III)
? Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting ability
? Ability to read blueprints
? Power tools & welding proficiency (preferred)
? Experience in manufacturing or production environments
? Safety mindset & ability to work independently
