Tax Preparer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Prepare individual and small business tax returns
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
- Review financial documents and research tax issues
- Communicate with clients and provide tax guidance
- Use tax software (e.g., Drake, Lacerte, Proconnect) efficiently
Tax Preparer Qualifications:
- 2 year of tax prep experience is required
- Oregon Tax Preparer License preferred or willing to get licensed quickly
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Knowledge of current tax laws
- Able to manage deadlines and work independently
- Willingness to work extended hours during tax season
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
