Production Manager Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
31.25 to $ 40.87 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Lead end-to-end operations, enforce safety and quality standards, and maintain equipment readiness.
- Implement Lean principles, SOPs, and TQM systems to optimize workflows, reduce scrap by 70%, and improve OEE.
- Apply structured root-cause analysis to eliminate defects and prevent recurrence.
- Manage molding, welding, finishing, and casting departments; plan labor and capacity; develop skills through a structured matrix.
- Align daily schedules with capacity, collaborate with Sales and Planning to minimize delays.
- Ensure APA and LA City certification, maintain first-pass quality, and lead corrective actions.
- Maintain zero-incident environment, enforce safety programs, and foster a culture of respect, trust, and continuous learning.
- Monitor budgets, labor hours, material costs, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Production Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in business, manufacturing, or engineering OR 7+ years managing operations with 40+ staff.
- Knowledge of mold design, CNC milling, concrete/gypsum spraying, and metal fabrication preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing expertise; strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings; lift 50 lbs; Spanish fluency a plus.
