Production & Machine Operator
We are hiring multiple Production and Machine Operator positions for a well-established metal spring manufacturing facility in Mentone, Indiana. These openings support several areas of production.

Production & Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.50 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
Possible Open Production Areas Include:
- Chamfering / Spring End Finishing
- CNC Spring Coilers
- Wire Forming / Wire Bending
- Metal Grinders
Placement will be based on experience, skill level, and current production needs.
Job Responsibilities (May Include):
- Operating and monitoring industrial machinery used in metal spring manufacturing
- Chamfering and grinding spring ends to meet specifications
- Setting up, operating, or assisting with CNC coiling and wire forming machines
- Loading and unloading raw material and finished metal parts
- Performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Conducting basic visual inspections and measurements
Production & Machine Operator Qualifications:
Work Environment:
- Heavy industrial metal manufacturing setting
- Exposure to metal dust, oil, grease, noise, and machinery
- Not climate controlled
- Fast-paced, production-driven environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50–75 lbs repeatedly
- Standing, bending, twisting, and reaching for 8–10 hour shifts
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Comfortable working around heavy machinery and metal components
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing, metal work, or machine operation experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to read a tape measure, calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to do basic math
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
