We are seeking skilled Heavy Coil Grinders to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on grinding and finishing large metal coils to precise specifications. The ideal candidate has mechanical experience, attention to detail, and proficiency using micrometers and measuring tools.

Heavy Coil Grinders Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.50 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Operate large grinding machines to grind, shape, and finish metal coils
- Set up and maintain grinding equipment for specific production jobs
- Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues
- Assist with production documentation and part tracking
Heavy Coil Grinders Qualifications:
- Previous experience in metal grinding, machining, or mechanical work
- Strong understanding of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy materials
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable attendance and work ethic
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
