Metals Production Operator – Night Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00pm to04:30am )
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently
- Run furnaces, induction heaters, and other melting equipment per procedures
- Handle and load raw materials into machines or process tanks
- Perform routine sampling and basic lab testing to ensure product quality
- Maintain accurate production logs and equipment checklists
- Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and environmental regulations
- Assist with cleaning, inspection, and minor maintenance of equipment
- Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 6S standards
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement efforts
Metals Production Operator – Night Shift Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attendance record and dependable work history
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in high-heat, industrial environments
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Willingness to learn quality-assurance analytical skills
- Understanding of 6S methodology a plus
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
